Employee Focus: Ronnie Lapere

October’s Employee Focus is on Ronnie Lapere.  In just a couple of months, Ronnie will be celebrating 14 years with Van Mark Products.  Ronnie started as a Production Associate, before moving into the role as a Logistics Associate in our Shipping and Receiving department.  Ronnie takes a lot pride in his diverse abilities and is always ready and willing to step in and help in different areas within the plant when needed.  His consistent smile and upbeat personality also make him a positive asset!

Ronnie said that some of things he really likes about working at Van Mark is that his schedule allows for a great work life balance, we are offered a variety of benefit options, and he really likes his coworkers!  When we asked Ronnie to describe Van Mark his reply was “Quality”.  Van Mark is known for its quality tools and service, so we think this description is spot on!

Ronnie was born and raised in Detroit.  He moved out of Detroit at the age of 20 and eventually settled in Farmington Hills.  Ronnie and his wife have 2 children, 2 grandchildren and another grandbaby on the way.  One of Ronnie’s favorite things to do is spend time with his grandkids. Fishing is also on the top of his list!  He also enjoys attending live sporting events and concerts as well as getting the family together often to enjoy BBQ’s and other activities.  Family is very important to Ronnie and he often heads up to Rose city to spend time with his grandfather and several aunts and uncles who reside nearby.

Look forward to another employee focus next month and be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for announcements.
