Research and Development at Van Mark Products
At Van Mark Products, we
strive to innovate our products and bring our customers the highest quality
equipment on the market. We are continuously looking for ways to improve and
help our customers with the challenges they face. Our Research and Development team
is made up of various members dedicated to producing results. We use a variety
of techniques to design, engineer, and manufacture inventive products.
The
concepts for our ideas are welcomed to come from many different outlets. Van
Mark has valued Technical and Customer Service teams. These groups document any
issues or suggestions that come directly from our customers. In addition, we
encourage our staff to provide their own feedback to areas of improvement. We
have valued team members, many of which have been with the company for 25 years
and counting. This invaluable expertise has provided us with many notions that
have made it all the way through to production. The Van Mark Products team is
always open and available to discuss these thoughts for further development. Helping
our customers is the driving force behind this team.
Once a
solution has been refined, Van Mark uses SolidWorks CAD and Simulation software
to engineer solutions. Our engineers have been trained and certified in this
program, as well as, new solid modelling software to create structurally
efficient concepts. These tools help us create the scenarios in 3D space, test,
and predict how future designs will perform. Our experienced team will then
review these models and from this data will create functional prototypes to
assess the performance. Many procedures are used to create these prototypes
including the technology to 3D print CAD generated models at the Van Mark
Products facility in Farmington Hills, MI. Once the prototypes have gone their
way through to manufacturing, Van Mark Products then uses certified testing
procedures and equipment to ensure every sense of quality and performance in
our products.
