We are days away from the JLC Live event in Providence, RI. (March 23-24 – Booth#318) Van Mark is proud to announce the tools that will be displayed at our booth this year.

Van Mark has produced portable job-site benders, brakes, slitters, perforating machines and panel cutting tables, designed specifically for the residential roofing, window, siding, metal roofing and metal building industries. The Mark II Trimmaster® is our most popular and top-of-the-line portable aluminum bending brake. It is accurately and artfully engineered to be the workhorse for any remodeling contractor.

On display this year is our Metal Master 20®. This portable job-site brake features a 20” throat depth, allowing easier bends of wider material. Versatile in its ability to perform various complex bending profiles with ease. Go from bending simple flashing to intricate outside corner posts without making any adjustments to the bending brake.

In addition, our other tools on display this year is the Trim-A-Gutter™, gutter hood forming tool, allows job-site manufacture of gutter leaf protection from aluminum trim coil. The Multi Gauge™ tool for your Mark 1, TrimMaster, or Metal Master® brakes, assists in determining the proper bending angles and also functions as a cutoff gauge when using our TrimCutter™ rolling shear. The NailHawg™, a durable magnetic sweep with one of the strongest magnets available, picks up metal debris on the job site.

Employee Focus: Bryan Brillhart

For this month, our employee focus is on Bryan Brillhart.  Bryan has been employed at Van Mark for over 25 years, and just celebrated this huge milestone this year!  Being a long-term employee, Bryan, who is our International Sales Manager, has seen many changes take place at Van Mark over the years.  One of those changes is the increase in international sales.

Employee Focus: Wayne Stankus

For our latest employee blog, we’ll be focusing on Wayne Stankus.  For 16 years now, Wayne has been a valued employee at Van Mark Products. Wayne is one of our production associates primarily building our brakes and takes a lot of pride in the quality of the products he helps produce.

Wayne told us, “I like the people, working dayshift, and we never work weekends!”  Wayne enjoys the stability of working at Van Mark, which is why one of his goals is to achieve 20 years of employment with the company. “I’m proud of the knowledge that I’ve gained over the years and I appreciate always being treated fairly.”

Wayne grew up in Wyandotte and currently lives in the house he grew up in as a child.  He inherited the house when his parents passed and really enjoys being back in the old neighborhood. Wayne is happily married to his wife Angela since 1997 and they have one Pomeranian who is an important part of the family too. Wayne enjoys going to the movies with his wife and the occasional week…

Employee Focus: Joe Pawlow

For March we will be focusing on one of Van Mark’s long-term employees, Joe Pawlow.Joe has been an employee of Van Mark since 1986.Originally hired in as a Production employee, within a few years, Joe’s abilities and knowledge had developed to the point that he was promoted to a maintenance position.Joe mastered this position and shortly thereafter, also became involved in Research & Development of new and existing products.Through the years Joe has acquired the knowledge and skills that have positioned him as an integral part of Van Mark’s R&D team.Joe shared with us that he hopes in the future to make R&D his primary focus.
When asked what Joe likes best about working at Van Mark, he commented that he loves having a steady schedule that doesn’t require working weekends or over-time.In addition, Joe enjoys the positive work environment at Van Mark.Joe also tells us that he is proud of his part in developing and introducing new products.Joe has had a hand in building most…
