Product Insight: 4'6" Cam locking brakes

At Van Mark we receive many inquiries about our small brakes, shorter than the most popular 10’ 6” and 8’ 6” Sizes. Our 4’6” brakes are the most requested and are great for small jobs or where shorter pieces of metal are needed to be formed. These 4’ 6” brakes are perfect for bending chimney, skylight, and roof vent flashing's as well as small window installation and repairs. Our “Cam Locking” brakes will “Hem” or make 180° bends easily and are designed to bend trim coil and gutter coil up to .027 (3003H14) or .032, soft copper, and light gauge steel (please contact our factory for capacities on your specific metal.) Our 3 featured 4’6” brakes, the M4, our traditional hinge bending brake, the TM4, our most popular brake with the powerslot™ hinge, and our newly updated MM460, featuring a 20” throat depth and lighter yet stronger castings. All 3 cam locking brakes can utilize our optional accessories like our Trimcutter™ or Trimformer™ to cut or form the perfect flashing for the job-site.
