Employee Focus: Julie Dinger-Sanders
For the month of September, our Employee Focus is on Julie Dinger-Sanders. Julie became a member of the Van Mark team in May of this year, stepping into the position of Regional Sales Manager. Julie has 20 years of sales and marketing experience. She has a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Marketing/Sales, from Ferris State University, and an Associates degree in Applied Science, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. We believe Julie’s background made the transition into the new position seemingly flawless.
Julie told us that she likes being part of a family owned business that, not only produces products built solely in the USA, but also continually focuses on Research and Development. We asked Julie to describe Van Mark in a few words and she responded with “Friendly, Superior Quality, and Reputation”. Julie’s current and future focus is on developing a good working relationship with our distributors and outside sales representatives.
Julie grew up in Greenville, Michigan, but eventually relocated to Howell in the early 80’s, with her husband Mark. Julie and her husband raised two children, who are now grown and on their own. They have been keeping Julie busy with weddings this year as both her son and daughter decided 2018 was the year to get married! Hopefully, things will calm down for Julie after her daughter’s wedding in October.
Julie and her husband teach a karate class for kids and adults through the community education program in her area. She’s a 3rd degree black belt and likes giving back to the community. When not busy at work or teaching karate, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and kids (when they can fit mom and dad into their busy schedules). On weekends, Julie and her husband try to get up north to their cabin on the lake whenever possible.
