Employee Focus: Wayne Stankus

For our latest employee blog, we’ll be focusing on Wayne Stankus.  For 16 years now, Wayne has been a valued employee at Van Mark Products. Wayne is one of our production associates primarily building our brakes and takes a lot of pride in the quality of the products he helps produce.

Wayne told us, “I like the people, working dayshift, and we never work weekends!”  Wayne enjoys the stability of working at Van Mark, which is why one of his goals is to achieve 20 years of employment with the company. “I’m proud of the knowledge that I’ve gained over the years and I appreciate always being treated fairly.”

Wayne grew up in Wyandotte and currently lives in the house he grew up in as a child.  He inherited the house when his parents passed and really enjoys being back in the old neighborhood. Wayne is happily married to his wife Angela since 1997 and they have one Pomeranian who is an important part of the family too. Wayne enjoys going to the movies with his wife and the occasional weekend getaway.  He also enjoys live sporting events, concerts, and bowling.
